1,000s of people visit our site every month and if you have an article sitting on it, that’s a fair bit of free marketing for you.
We’re looking for SaaS industry experts who know all about leadership, revenue optimization, market reach, sales funnels, and product-led growth.
The tricky topics you really know your stuff about. All so our community can continue to grow (and you get some pretty impressive rewards, too).
Why write for us?
Well, we’re an independent group and we have a clear goal. That’s to push forward progress and innovation in SaaS across the world 🌏.
Also, when your piece is live on our site, SaaS professionals will read it. Thousands of them. And we’ll share it in our SaaS Slack community and across our social channels.
That’s some pretty awesome free marketing right there. You can even head over to Slack to discuss feedback on your piece.
So, looking to contribute? Excellent! 👍 Here’s how to do it.👇
Step 1: Send us your idea
You need a subject. Once you think of one, drop us a line. It has to be about SaaS, of course, and popular topics include:
- Product-led growth
- Acquisition and monetization
- Customer success and onboarding
- Growth and metrics
Or whatever else takes your fancy. If you have a radical vision you just have to share, send us your concept and wait for the all-clear.
Step 2: Follow the rules
We’re a reasonable bunch and don’t expect too much from you. But what we do ask for is:
- More than 500 words, please. Anything shorter is too short.
- Use copyright-free images.
- A picture of yourself for your contributor profile—it adds authority.
- A small bio about you (around 200 characters, if you please).
Remember, you’re not writing solely to promote your business. You can do that in your bio a little bit. Or you can ask for a SaaS sponsorship opportunity if you’d like to promote that side of things.
Otherwise, for written contributions you need to show off your expertise.
Step 3: Submission time
Blast your content over to me (Emma Bilardi) on Slack. Or you can use good old email: email@example.com.
If you’re not already a contributor, please include your words of wisdom in an attachment (Word, Pages and all that). Plus, send us your picture.
Oh, and if you’d like to run a brilliant piece that’s already live, you can still publish with us. We’ll use custom canonical links to avoid any duplicate content unpleasantness.
The legal bits
Ah, yes, we do need to cover off a few reminders here so everything stays shipshape. Don’t worry, though, it’s nothing too scary. 🧟♀️
Images add a lot to a post and help draw in the attention of readers. This means we use them with every post.
Our team picks some stock photography.
That’s unless you decide to submit an image. And if you do, by including an image you consent to Future of SaaS to post the image(s) with a proper credit to you/the image creator.
Keep links in your copy relevant and make sure they’re high-quality sources.
If you’re using a quote, or referring to another article, make sure you use proper citations. Either that or just link straight to the source material.
We reserve the right to use any and all contributed content, with credit to any authors, in its entirety or in portions for promotional purposes.
That includes social media, other blogs, and newsletters.
Ready to write!?
If you’re bursting at the seams with ideas and ready to write some amazing content, now’s the time to get in touch. Drop us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
